Congress votes to immunize lawbreaking telecoms, legalize warrantless eavesdropping.
Obama, like almost half the Senate Democrats and all the Republicans, voted for cloture (i.e., against a filibuster of the bill) and for the final bill.
The ACLU and the EFF will be fighting this in the courts. (I just renewed my ACLU membership; they're going to have a hell of a lot of work to do when Obama's the president.)
